Every penny helps us to support those affected by homelessness
Whatever the amount, no matter how big or small, we appreciate every single donation that you can give. Your contribution ensures that we can keep our doors open and provide for our client’s longer terms needs by offering them appropriate support, advice and referral.

Many of the clients that we support come to us with very little, by donating clothes, food, or toiletries means we are able to always:
If you have unwearable items, old sheets or any textiles/fabrics please donate them in a separate bag clearly labelled 'recycling'. These will be sold to a recycling centre where they are turned into wiping rags or can be sold and processed back into fibres to make new products. Most fabrics are recyclable and textiles get a second (or third or fourth) life. It's better for the environment and is a way for us to get some additional income!

Payroll giving comes out of your salary after National Insurance, but before tax. This means that you get tax relief on your donation which can be passed onto Spires. If you’re a higher tax rate payer then this benefit increases. Here’s an example of how it works:
You’re a standard tax payer at 20% and make a monthly donation of £20 to Spires. When the money is taken from your salary you’ll be paying £16 but the remaining £4 will be money you would have paid in tax and not seen in your wages anyway.
You’re a higher rate tax payer at 40% and wish to make a monthly donation of £20 to Spires. When the money is taken from your salary you’ll be paying £12 but the remaining £8 will be money you would have paid in tax and not seen in your wages anyway.
Ask your HR or Payroll Manager whether your company has signed up to Payroll Giving and if so, how you can join the scheme.
You can help our work live on. If you have remembered Spires in your will, intend to do so, or would like more information, please contact our Fundraiser, Tallulah by email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or phone 020 8696 0943.
