“Spires is an extremely pleasant place to work in and staff and people that use the facilities are very friendly. My whole experience has left me talking to people about how much I love volunteering here.”
Without a doubt Spires would not be all that it is without the incredible enthusiasm, skills, and dedication of all our volunteers. Our volunteers make a significant contribution to our work and enable Spires to deliver a large range of services to the most vulnerable people in our community.
Spires has around 50 volunteers who come to Spires from all walks of life and support us in the centre, in the office, on outreach and in raising those all important funds. Whatever your background, whatever your skills and however you volunteer, you’ll find that volunteering for Spires is a rewarding and challenging experience.
Volunteers are always needed to help with a range of administrative tasks and there are always opportunities to help with the organisation and planning of fundraising events for Spires.
